Postdoctoral Fellows

We are looking for two talented postdoctoral fellows to join our adventures in probing cellular dynamics in live E. coli cells using single-molecule approaches.
One fellow should have a strong background in molecular biology and experienced with E. coli physiology. Work experience with fluorescent proteins is a plus but not necessary. Willingness to learn single-molecule fluorescence microscopy, as well as quantitative statistical analysis, is a must.
The other fellow should have a strong quantitative background in biophysics or physical chemistry and be experienced with single-molecule techniques. Willingness to learn biology, however, is a must.

We welcome any graduate student that is interested in learning single-molecule biophysics to rotate or join our multidisciplinary research group. You do not need to have much math or physics background beyond the college level to appreciate the excitement we have!
