 Mar 2008: Congratulations to Professor Xiao, who received the NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
Mar 2008: We welcome Helen and Thuy, rotation students in PMCB program. Helen is woking on the cell division project. Thuy is working on the single-molecule autoregulatory gene expression.
Feb 2008: We welcome Amy, a junior at Johns Hopkins University majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology to conduct her undergraduate research in bacterial cell division.
Jan 2008: The Xiao group welcomes PMCB rotation student Jackson Buss. Jackson is excited to research the FtsZ protein and its involvement in E. coli cell division.
Feb 2008: Congratulations to Professor Xiao, who received the Basil O'Connor Starter Scholar Research
Award sponsored by March of Dimes. The award will be used to support the gene expression project.
