Congratulations to our three extremely talented undergraduate students for receiving the Provost Undergraduate Research Award (PURA): Yash Bhargava, Iris Zheng and Ruiwen Xiong. Established in 1993 with a generous endowment by the Hodson Trust, PURA supports and encourages Hopkins undergraduate students to engage in independent research, scholarly and creative projects. With the help of a $3,000 fellowship, PURA recipients conceive and drive projects under the guidance of a mentor from any Hopkins division, center, or institute.
